Nationwide Campaign for Vulnerable Tribal Groups

The government launched the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyaan (PM-JANMAN) on 23rd August, 2024, aiming to deliver essential services to Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) across 194 districts.

- Outreach Strategy: The campaign will focus on remote areas with limited access, bringing essential services directly to PVTG households through events in local markets, community centers, and common places.
- Volunteer Involvement: Organizations like MyBharat, Nehru Yuvak Kendras, NSS, NCC, and self-help groups will support the campaign, helping distribute essential documents like Aadhar cards, community certificates, and bank accounts.
- Health Initiatives: The campaign will also include health camps to address specific health issues among PVTGs, such as sickle cell disease.
