EAM official Visit to Mauritius

Indian External Affairs Minister is on a two-day visit to Mauritius on July 16-17, 2024. He signed an MoU between India and Mauritius in Port Louis, with Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth.

Key Points

During the meeting, Jaishankar and PM Jugnauth discussed "various aspects of bilateral ties, including the Development Partnership, Defence and Maritime Corporation, economic and trade ties, and people-to-people linkage.
Indian EAM said that, India remains committed to strengthening this critical partnership that is so important for the future of the Indian Ocean region.
