Gagan Narang

On July 9th, 2024, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has named Gagan Narang, four-time Olympian and 2012 Olympic Games men’s 10 meter Air Rifle bronze medalist, as the Chef-de-Mission of the Indian contingent to compete in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, starting on 26th July 2024.

• Gagan Narang will replace MC Mary Kom.
• P V Sindhu will accompany table tennis star Sharath Kamal as India’s female flag bearer in the Olympics.

• IOA was established in the year 1927 with Sir Dorabji Tata and Dr. A.G. Noehren as the Founding President and Secretary General respectively.
