Russia to Export Coal to India

During the 27th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) (5-8 June, 2024), Russia announced its plans to export coal to India using Iran’s railways.

  • It will make use of the International North-South Corridor to export coals to India.
  • The first coal-carrying wagons will be sent to India after passing through Iran and Bandar Abbas.
