10th China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF)

On May 30th, 2024, the 10th ministerial conference of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF) was concluded in Baijing and adopted the Beijing Declaration, the CASCF execution plan for 2024-2026, and a China-Arab states joint statement on the Palestinian issue.

Deepen Cooperation:Chinese President urged Arab states to deepen their cooperation and enhance efforts in building a China-Arab community with a shared future.
Beijing Declaration: Reviewed ways to promote a China-Arab community and enhance bilateral cooperation. It emphasized common positions on resolving regional crises, counterterrorism, human rights, climate change, and artificial intelligence.
Action Implementation Plan 2024-26:laid out a framework for boosting Chinese-Arab ties and cooperation in various fields, including in economy, politics, infrastructure and aviation, over the next two years.
China-Arab states Joint Statement on the Palestinian Issue: Emphasized the need for a Gaza cease-fire and uninterrupted humanitarian aid, reiterated the rejection of forced Palestinian displacement, and called for resolving the Palestinian issue based on the two-state solution.
The China-Arab States Cooperation Forum was established in January 2004 during then-Chinese President Hu Jintao’s visit to Cairo, with the aim to strengthen ties and cooperation between China and Arab nations.
China will host the second China-Arab States Summit in 2026, which is set to be another milestone in China-Arab relations.
