Indian Navy Ships Visit Philippines

On 20th May, 2024, three Indian Navy ships—INS Delhi, INS Shakti, and INS Kiltan—arrived in the Philippines as part of an operational deployment to the South China Sea.

This visit aims to strengthen maritime cooperation and the longstanding friendship between the two nations.
The ships arrived in Manila on 20^th May 2024 and received a warm welcome from the Philippines Navy.
The visit includes professional interactions, subject matter expert exchanges, sports fixtures, cross-deck visits, cultural visits, and community outreach programs.
A Maritime Partnership Exercise (MPX) with the Philippines Navy is also planned, further enhancing the maritime collaboration.
