India-Nordic Summit

The 11th India-Norway foreign office consultations in Delhi discussed plans for the next India-Nordic summit expected in Oslo, focusing on diverse cooperation areas.

The India-Nordic Summit aims to enhance bilateral ties in blue economy, renewable energy, climate, green hydrogen, and more.
Previous summits were held in Stockholm (2018) and Copenhagen (2022), highlighting the growing partnership.
Both sides praised the Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) signed between India and EFTA member states in March 2024.
TEPA facilitates significant investment opportunities, with EFTA countries eyeing USD 100 billion investment in India over 15 years.
The agreement opens avenues for Indian exporters in European and global markets, while EFTA firms can expand operations in India.
Discussions included UN reforms and regional/global issues, reflecting mutual interests and cooperation.
