Kami Rita Sherpa

On 12th May 2024, Nepali climber and guide Kami Rita Sherpa, known as the 'Everest Man', achieved a remarkable feat by climbing Mount Everest for the 29th time.

Sherpa, along with 28 climbers, embarked on the Spring Season Everest expedition from Kathmandu, breaking his own record.
Seven Summit Treks, where Sherpa works, congratulated him for his historic achievement, earning him the title of 'Most Successful Ascent of Mt. Everest by an Individual'.
Born in Thame village in Solukhumbu Nepal, Sherpa began his mountaineering journey in 1992 and completed his first ascent of Everest in 1994 at the age of 24.
Apart from Everest, Sherpa has conquered other prominent peaks including K2, Manaslu, Cho Oyu, and Lhotse, showcasing his exceptional mountaineering prowess.
According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Sherpa has scaled Everest nearly every year since his first climb, totaling 29 ascents to date.
His dedication and passion for mountaineering have made him a legendary figure in the world of climbing, inspiring many aspiring mountaineers worldwide.
