Amul Fresh Milk Launches in US Market

GCMMF recently launched Amul fresh milk in the US market for the first time, targeting Indian diaspora and Asian population.

Partnership with Michigan Milk Producers Association facilitates milk collection and processing, while GCMMF handles marketing and branding.
Variants including Amul Taaza, Amul Gold, Amul Shakti, and Amul Slim n Trim will be available within a week.
Initial distribution in New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Washington, Dallas, and Texas.
Focus on branding and marketing for the next 3-4 months to gauge customer response.
Future plans include launching fresh milk products like paneer, curd, and buttermilk.
GCMMF's turnover in 2022-23 fiscal stood at around Rs 55,000 crore, with existing exports to approximately 50 countries.
