IIM Indore is the 10th Business School to earn the accreditation from the global accrediting body for business schools- AACSB. The accreditation in essence gives the B-school an international stamp of approval.

Other Indian institutes to have received the AACSB accreditation are IIM Udaipur, TAPMI, IMT Ghaziabad, School of Business Management at NMIMS Mumbai, SPJIMR Mumbai, IIM Calcutta, ISB, IFIM and XLRI.

IIM Indore also won itself the Association of MBAs (AMBA) Business Excellence Award 2019 in the category of Business School Impact on Community and Society for its Rural Immersion Programme.
